The aftermath from Craft Fair Number 1!

This is my craft room currently. Scary, isn't it?! My first craft fair was a success. I made about 126 dollars that day (which covers the table I bought and both craft fairs' fees), but I learned soooo much! I learned that you shouldn't put your prices out or else people will just walk by. I learned that no one wants to touch your display so everything must be more visible. I also learned that I really need more sizes maybe even up to 3T-5T. I learned that my whales are adorable and that I should have something to hand out to all the kids. I also learned that if you talk up your stuff enough people will buy it! lol. My favorite thing I learned is that I'm actually quite good at handing back change. I've never worked retail so that was a major shocker!

So I have another craft fair on the 20th plus a custom order for two cute little baby sets I made. You get an appliqued onesie, a pair of pants, two bibs and three burp cloths.

I ordered the cutest sign and stickers on Vistaprint! They all coordinate with whales. The small stickers will be handed out to the kids who walk by and the bigger stickers will go on my bags or boxes. I thought it makes it look more professional with "labels" like that. Soooo excited to receive them.

I'm going to be posting some of my cute stuff as soon as I get good pictures. Our cable is out for 5 days so I'll have lots of time to sew.

Sounds fun. I just did my first craft Faire today. It was pretty fun, lots of lookers and compliments, much more than purchases. But I was seated next to a real nice lady and made a new friend. Also nobody else were selling stuff like mine so that was good.
