Didn't get it, ooooh well.

I didn't get into the Austin Renegade Craft fair. I spent yesterday feeling sorry for myself and whimpering and wailing, "I'LL NEVER CRAFT AGAAAAAAAAAAAIN!"

Okay, not that dramatic but I felt like doing that. Today I woke up feeling a bit better. Yesterday someone left me lovely feedback on my etsy shop and the munchkin I nanny for adores her tutu/skirt. I left the tulle a bit long and even added some organza and she's so happy with it. She asked for another dress so I'm going to tackle a circle skirt as she loves spinning and wants it to float up. Things always get better.

I don't know if I'll try for any other Renegade show. I'm really someone who likes to go big or go home. Didn't work so well.

Today I worked on adding all the whales I made for my application to my etsy shop. I'm going to go to Lowe's to make us a new desk (which is completely random but hey! I need to do something a bit manly to feel better) and then I'm going to get back to crafting. I bought a showcase spot a few weeks ago and completely forgot about it! Whoops.

I leave you with citrus wedges I made. Are these not the cutest things ever? I was so proud of them!

Well those citrus wedges are just adorable!! I love them!!

And I get into funks like that too. I think you should get to crafting and maybe work some more local fairs and work yourself up. Your stuff is adorable, and you shouldn't get too down about it! :)

I love the slices! So cute! And I agree with Amy 100%. I think that fair is one of the toughest to get into and personally, sometimes I feel that they are rigged. The art world is so clique-ish ya' know? The same people get into the same shows year after year and it is gets stale. Maybe that is just my opinion, but anyway, keep crafting because you are awesome!

I think it's awesome that you even applied. Keep on crafting away, your stuff is great!
